Pernille Sejer
Performance Coach | Play Zone Pro Coach
Mind Game Coach was created to give young athletes and the people around them real tools for the moments that matter most in sport.
Pernille works at the intersection of performance coaching, nervous system regulation and practical sport application.
She is a Play Zone Pro Coach, trained in a Polyvagal-informed approach to wellness and performance coaching through the Polyvagal Institute. Her work is grounded in The Play Zone methodology developed by Michael Allison and informed by Polyvagal Theory by Stephen W. Porges, Ph.D.
Her approach is grounded in the reality of competitive sport — the bench, the comeback, the mistake in the third quarter, the parent on the sideline.
She works with athletes from age 12 and above, across team sports and individual disciplines — delivering workshops, team sessions and one-to-one coaching that translate directly to performance under pressure.
Not theory for the sake of theory.
Not hype.
Not therapy language.
Practical tools athletes can use when the game gets hard.
01
Athletes cannot always access what they have trained if their state shifts under pressure. We work on state first — so skill has a better chance to show up when it matters.
02
Every session gives athletes something they can use the next time they step on the court, field, track or stage. No jargon. No overcomplication. Just tools.
03
Athletes do not perform in isolation. Coaches, parents and teammates shape the pressure environment. We work with the whole system around performance.
04
How an athlete responds to a mistake is trainable. We build the habit of moving forward — not the habit of spiralling.
Whether you're a coach, a club, or an athlete — get in touch and we'll find the right fit.
